The 2026 Honda CBR150R lightweight Sport bike has been launched in the Malaysian market with a new colour option, the Stealth Black Edition, priced at RM 13,399. Apart from the new colour scheme, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged. The Honda CBR150R competes directly with the Yamaha R15, Suzuki Gixxer SF, and KTM RC 200.

The bike remains mechanically unchanged. It is powered by the same 149.2cc DOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, producing a maximum power of 16 bhp at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.7 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox with a slipper clutch.

Color options
The 2026 Honda CBR150R is now available in a total of three shades, following the launch of the new black colour. The newly launched black shade features orange highlights on the engine cowl, fuel tank, headlight section, and tail section. The other colour options are silver and the Honda tricolour.

In Malaysia, the 2026 Honda CBR150R is priced at RM 13,399 (Malaysian Ringgit). If converted to Indian rupees, it would be around βΉ3.14 lakh.
Will the Honda CBR150R be launched in India?
There is no official confirmation from Honda yet. The cost of manufacturing is high, so unless Honda opts for localisation, the chances of a launch in India are limited. From 2012 to 2017, Honda sold the CBR150R and CBR250R in India.
